Black diamond is an intriguing name, isn't it? It is one of the most unusual gemstones that will definitely not leave you indifferent! At the mention of diamonds, we most often imagine the classics - colorless round-cut stones. Corações e flechas

A qualidade da lapidação de um diamante depende diretamente de uma variedade de parâmetros. Atualmente, existem vários sistemas para determinar a qualidade de uma pedra preciosa.

O sistema mais amplamente utilizado foi desenvolvido pelo Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Em ordem crescente de qualidade do diamante, todas as pedras são divididas em cinco graus: ruim, razoável, bom, muito bom e excelente.

De acordo com o sistema russo, os diamantes são classificados em A, B e C: qualidade excelente, boa e razoável, respectivamente.

A lista de sistemas não termina aqui. Assim, a American Gemological Society (AGS) criou um sistema mais detalhado que inclui no processo de avaliação parâmetros como proporções, qualidade do polimento e simetria. Cada um dos parâmetros corresponde a uma escala de 0 a 10, em que uma nota "0" indica qualidade perfeita e "10" indica qualidade muito ruim.
